Busy busy

Worked through lunch + 1 hr
Attend conference call + assorted paperwork after hours from home = +1 hr
+2 hrs for the day, +4 week-to-date

Things are definitely hectic right now. Based on my day today, and all the stuff I have going to prepare for a major release on Saturday, I'm going to have to bail on my plans for tomorrow night. Just not enough energy to make it happen. Plus, I resolved to attend those events this year before I realized that my shift was changing back to 6-2:30. It's too hard on me to travel all the way across town for an event that starts at 7 p.m. when I'm usually in bed by 8 p.m. and it's an hour's drive away. Unfortunately, I just can't afford the sleep deprivation at my age. I just hope when my friends (most of whom are significantly younger than I am) hit my age, they'll better understand why I was exhausted all the time. :)

Note: Conference call now complete, now I can start on the rest of the stuff I should take care of tonight. Might I also state for the record, I hate getting older.

Ciao for now.

Take care of yourself and know you will be missed, but I totally get the drive being an issue. :)

Thanks...

Thanks for understanding. I am actually planning on relocating in about 3 years to be closer to the Perimeter. If I had been smart, I would have bought a house there in the first place, but the issue for me at that time was I didn't WANT to be that close to work. Things change, and now I just have to wait for the housing market to swing back into my favor in order to buy a second house in the Chamblee/Dunwoody area.
