I just cleaned out my closet, and even *after* giving some stuff to Goodwill, etc., I have 7 weeks of clothes that I can wear to work without a repeat (mind you, I may have to repeat on a couple of skirts to wear them with a different top, but for the most part, no repeats).
That is just so wrong... so I'm putting myself on a clothing diet.
The terms of the "diet" are this:
1) I cannot buy anything new unless I am willing to give up something old.
2) In order to give up something old, it must meet one of three criteria:
a) It may be "worn out" - i.e., stained, torn, irreparable damage
b) It may be "out of style" or something I just no longer wear - and will be donated
c) It no longer fits to the point of being baggy, falling off, looks bad, etc. - and will be donated
This will keep my closets from filling to over-flowing with things I no longer wear.
Ciao for now.
