Pick 10 for 2010
Here are my 10 new habits for 2010. They are listed in the order in which I plan to implement them.
1) Start my day by reading, A Year With Rumi: Daily Readings by Coleman Barks (Beginning January 3)
2) Blog daily. That does not necessarily mean I'll be posting to LJ daily. I have several blogs scattered about the net, and it's one of '50 things for 50 weeks' projects to begin to network them all together in 2010. (Beginning February 7)
3) Get 30 minutes of moderate exercise daily. (Beginning March 14)
4) Get 7.5 hours of sleep each night. No excuses. My health is more important than my social life. (Beginning April 18)
5) Take time to truly listen to someone else each day. Engage them in a conversation where I don't speak of myself at all. (Beginning May 23)
6) Meditate for 30 minutes each day. (Beginning June 27)
7) End my day with a reading from Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life by Wayne Dyer. (Beginning August 1)
8) Do, learn or eat something new every day. It's up to us to create our life's experiences. (Beginning September 5)
9) Read something new for 60 minutes each day. (Beginning October 10)
10) Start a list of everything that I am grateful for. Add one new item a day. (Beginning November 7)
