[livejournal.com profile] koranger and [livejournal.com profile] aquell joined me for Easter dinner and it was great. I experimented on them with the scalloped potatoes, and while they tasted fine, I wasn't happy with the consistency of the sauce, it was actually too thick because I brought the roux to a boil too quickly, and I forgot to add the salt and pepper as well (got behind with my cooking so that I was busy with the sauce when the guests arrived). Next time I shall do my prep work better, although I must note that I love the new flour that is specially made for sauces and gravies that I bought.

Excellent company and conversation, which is the primary reason for my cooking endeavors, and most of the leftovers went home with guests. I kept the leftover turkey though, as I will be making chef salads for lunch for work this week. I think I'm going to attempt to play a little WoW, assuming that the power doesn't go out from this nasty storm.

Hopefully, tomorrow I should get both offer letters, or at least some more details on the jobs I have been offered. As [livejournal.com profile] clndestyn wisely stated, there's no use worrying about the details at this point, because I really don't have any. I can't make a rational decision between the two offers until I know what I'm dealing with.

Ciao for now.
