Overall, a good week. For the most part, I stuck to eating healthy, with a few sidesteps here and there. I read an interesting article on bulimia and other eating disorders yesterday while getting a pedicure, and they discussed how one can't deprive themselves of foods just because they are high calorie or fattening. If you want it, eat a small portion, just don't eat the entire box, bag, pizza, etc.

Took a couple of hours and went to get pampered yesterday. Got a pedicure (painted 'em purple, go figure) and set an appt. for next Friday to get a perm. I haven't gone curly in a long time, I think I'm due for a change. Then, a couple of weeks after the perm, I'll go back and get a new color again.

Got my three Six Sigma exams taken yesterday. Now all that is left is to submit my final project. Of course, that means I have to *write* my final project, but I'm not sweating it too much as I'm writing more and more these days, both creatively and for business.

It was a very quiet and relaxing day yesterday. I'm expecting more of the same today and tomorrow, though I am still working on tidying up the house, etc. I think I'll do laundry today. Of all the household chores, I think I like laundry the best because it's a sporadic activity... sort... wash... dry... fold... it doesn't have to be done all at once, and you can curl up with a good book while it takes a tumble.

Speaking of books. I've been reading voraciously of late, which I think is helping to reduce my stress level. Granted, I don't ever read fiction, it's always self-help, design, business, spiritual, etc., however, the very act of reading is very relaxing (ok ok, so I fall asleep sometimes too).

So today I shall read, organize, tinker with the computer (when do I not do that?), do some mundane household chores and just enjoy life.

Ciao for now.
