Not exactly sure what to post here today. My life is really pretty boring lately. Work, work and more work. It's obvious I'm not going to get my site up and running by Monday (my birthday), however, I am at least aiming to have it up some time before Labor Day weekend.
I've been in the midst of switching bank accounts, and just getting my basic bills paid has been a chore. Had to close down all the auto-debits from the old account and start new ones on the current account, etc., etc. This has put me behind on financing some of the stuff for the web page, etc., so that's why I'm going to miss my self-imposed deadline.
Things are going to be hectic for the next couple of weeks at work covering for other people's vacations, etc. Oh yeah, and the 4th of July. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. I can't get very excited about it 'cause it's on Wednesday this year for crying out loud. Last thing I want to do is stay up and party on a week day, that will get me all messed up.
On a "social" note. I've started playing Magic: the Addiction again. Been going to free tournaments that they hold every Friday night - "Friday Night Magic." It's a nice diversion from the rest of my week, it's just that I know myself, this leads to massive expenditures on cards and stuff... que sera sera. In fact, I'm probably going to do a little auction-watching this weekend to see if I can find some of the cards I want.
Clair and I are supposed to be going out to dinner tonight to celebrate my birthday, and then we were going to head over to ZenGoddess' house party tonight. I also want to try to stop by Mark's party tonight, so I think I'll suggest separate cars.
