Week 15: 329 lbs.
Week 16: 320.5 lbs.
Week 17: 318 lbs.
Total loss for the week: 2.5 lbs.
Total loss overall: 57 lbs.
Goal weight: 175 lbs.
Current pounds to goal: 143 lbs.
I just had the most uplifting experience tonight after work. I went to the mall with my friend Carol, and we were walking from the food court down to Macy's at Perimeter Mall when I realized that I had walked halfway across the mall without stopping to rest, wheeze or practically pass out. And not only that, after I did that, I walked all the way back to the other end of the mall without stopping or losing my breath to where my car was parked after Carol and I split up (she had parked outside of Macy's, and I had parked at the other end).
I know it's pathetic that I couldn't walk the length of the mall even as recently as Christmas time, but today... today just felt so good. I realized that what I'm doing is right, that it's not that hard once you put your mind to it, and that I'm going to make it, no matter what "challenges" may arise along the way.
