I especially liked this one, so I wanted to post it to my journal:
20 Years Ago (1982), I:
1. worked 3 jobs and went to college full-time in Columbia, MO.
2. met the man who would become my first husband.
3. played AD&D every chance I could get.
4. gave up a beautiful baby boy for adoption.
5. used the Internet to send email to friends at other colleges.
10 Years Ago (1992), I:
1. worked for the Auto Trader in Seattle, WA as a graphic designer/system admin.
2. was still happily married to my second husband.
3. hosted tabletop games at my house every weekend (Rolemaster, AD&D, Battletech).
4. met people face to face from the Internet for the first time.
5. was OGF Archer in the online gaming forum of AOL.
5 Years Ago (1997), I:
1. worked for Hewlett-Packard in Atlanta, GA doing tech support.
2. fell in love with my best friend.
3. was actively LARPing in multiple games (AIT, ABN).
4. blew the engine in my Saturn.
5. built my first web page on Geocities.
2 Years Ago (2000), I:
1. worked for NASCO in Atlanta, GA as a Product Support Analyst.
2. had given up on romance completely.
3. took a year off from the Camarilla and conventions.
4. almost lost my job due to multiple illnesses.
5. spent most of my free time surfing the web.
1 Year Ago, (2001) I:
1. worked for NASCO in Atlanta, GA as a Senior Product Support Analyst.
2. decided that friends are much better than lovers.
3. started to role-play again intermittantly.
4. learned I was diabetic.
5. was a new LJ user.
Yesterday, I:
1. helped Carol paint the spare bedroom in the house I'm going to buy someday.
2. decided that when I own the house, I'm hiring professional painters.
3. ate lunch at Jade Palace with Carol and Michael.
4. played too much Starcraft.
5. fell asleep happy.
Today, I:
1. got up early to catch up on email.
2. drove Michael to the Changeling game.
3. filled out this survey.
4. did laundry.
5. paid bills.
Tomorrow, I:
1. will go to work at NASCO.
2. start packing for NEGLECt.
3. go shopping for last minute trip items.
4. research touristy activities in the Chicago area on the web.
5. spend time with someone I love.
