Wherein I break a long period of silence.

Things are going amazingly well for me. I've been hella busy lately, having agreed to be an ACST in the Cam. Saturday night's game did not go as I planned (our CST was out of town and I wrote the plot for Saturday's game while the DST was the certifying ST)... and I totally understand now how STs can get "blamed for everything." Blah... prestige is not worth the crap people throw at the ST staff. I've definitely got to get a "stronger stomach" for that stuff, because it's not my fault how the story plays itself out. I introduced a few mortals into the evening, and the story spiralled into the stratosphere, all due to IC motivations of some of the PCs. Of course, because not everyone understands what motivates people to act as their characters would (insert amusement at an argument between two players were one proceeded to tell the other "How you should play your Path"), they blame the STs instead.

Don't like what happened? Roleplay the repercussions people. Don't think someone did their job? Roleplay it out.

I didn't comment on the domain list regarding the recent - "Salon/Elysium game" thread. I'm just completely tired of listening to people bitch and whine OOC about this and that regarding the venue, and then doing absolutely nothing about changing it ICly. (Please note: I do exclude the players of Clan Toreador from this statement, you guys did a fantastic job on Saturday, even if it did not turn out completely as planned). However, considering that due to the fact that the Chapter is completely broke and relatively unable to pay site fees for the coming months, people are going to have to be creative or we won't *have* a game to play.

Anyway, enough venting. I really am having fun with the job, just have a bad taste in my mouth after Saturday's game. However, for myself, more than anyone else, I have to say that I have to remember that opionions are like a**holes... everyone has them, and no two are the same. I just have to suck it up and go on.
