OK, so I actually have big news to post about today.
I bought a house.
Yes, leave it to me to be the only person that you know who goes out on an impulse and buys a house.

Me: But Clint, since when have you ever know me not to just go out and buy what I wanted once I decided that I really wanted it.
Clint: But... this is a *house.*
Me: ::chuckles::
OK, so I'm really fortunate to know that I already have financing secure without going through all that bank hoopla (aka bank of Dad)... but still, I've done tons of research on the Internet, and I had already decided what builder I wanted to use, etc. The only thing remaining in my mind was choosing the location. And when I went to the site today, they only had one two-car garage end unit available for their first phase of construction (due to be completed in late February/early March). Frankly, I don't want to be in an apartment any longer, so I checked with Dad and he said go for it. So I did. I placed my earnest money down and picked all the upgrades, and will go back to the office tomorrow to sign the final contract. Signed, sealed, and delivered 1st Q 2004.
I couldn't be happier.
Ciao for now.
