Well, it's not the longest dry spell I've ever had, for sure, but there has been a lot going on lately. First of all, it looks like I may be moving to the Triangle area of North Carolina in less than a month. However, until the "ink has dried" on the offer, I don't want to say any more than this publicly. If you know me in real life and want an update, give me a call.

I heard some news the other day that disturbed me, and I want to vent, but unfortunately, I have to be cryptic.

I just have one thing to say:

"Pot... Kettle... Black"

I'm very tired of hypocracy, and I'm going to be making a sincere effort to eliminate it from my life.

I'm looking forward to this possible change for a myriad of reasons, both personally and professionally.

Ciao for now.

I just had lunch at Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse. If there is one near you, I heartily recommend having lunch there. The prices are reasonable, the portions are sizeable, and the bananas foster is big enough to feed an army. Luckily, I have leftovers.

I had the Smoky Baby-Back Ribs, $9.99, substituted a Garden Salad for French Fries, cut the meal in half (3 ribs eaten, 3 for the box, put the baked beans into the box and half of the loaf of house bread that came with the meal), and the Bananas Foster for $5.49, I had a coupon for $5 off a purchase of $15, and with tax and tip added back in, I came out with two lovely meals for $15. I left half of the dessert on the plate, because there's just no good way to take home ice cream... besides, I didn't need all that sugar any way. It was a nice splurge though.

Ciao for now.
