It's "bloat week" - I hate this week of the month. Mostly because it makes me feel like I'm gaining weight when I know that it's all just hormones and water. The other reason is that I become extremely bitchy/grumpy/cranky. I'm loving my new schedule, although working out in the morning may be a stretch if I don't get up at least 15 min. earlier. My trainer called me yesterday to set up my first training session, but I didn't have a chance to call him back. I'll do that today from work.
Work is going amazingly well these days. This has to do with the new schedule, and the fact that I can get 3x as much done coming in at 7 than I could at 9:30. I'm finding that I'm getting done before 9 a.m. what it took me all day to do when I worked the other shift. This is primarily due to the fact that now I'm in sync schedule-wise with most of our customers (the other shift can only get ahold of anyone on the West Coast after 3:30 p.m. anyway), so it's easier to make callbacks and such. (I get live bodies rather than voicemails).
I'll need a couple of weeks or so to get settled into my new schedule and get organized before I start modifying my social calendar. I did have lunch with a co-worker yesterday, which was awesome, since on the other shift, I was pretty much the only person eating lunch at that time. Also makes going to Toastmaster's easier. Oh, and in case I hadn't mentioned it earlier, I joined Toastmaster's in preparation for writing my book and "becoming famous." Hehehe.
OK, I just looked at the time and I need to get my happy butt out of here and start getting ready for work.
Ciao for now.
