OK, well, not until tomorrow, but I wanted to make a "final post" here before I go on my NASCO adventure. IS didn't get me a laptop, luckily, I bought myself a new one. Anyone interested in seeing what I got can click here. Tomorrow morning I will be taking off and driving to Lexington, KY, though I'm not sure what time I'm going to get under way. I might wait until evening, I haven't decided yet (might wait until I get my mail on Saturday before leaving). Then, on Sunday, I'll be driving from Lexington to Southfield, MI. If anyone needs to get in contact with me, I'm going to have my cell phone, though be advised I won't be able to pick up VM remotely (I need to work with Cingular on that, as I have never been successful in doing that when I was travelling). I'll be staying at the Candlewood Suites, and will probably be working 16-18 hours a day 6 days a week. I'm allowed two flybacks to Atlanta during the 45-day period, but I'm not sure when I'm going to be utilizing them. I shed a couple of tears yesterday saying goodbye to my team. Due to the fact that they will need my cubicle while I'm gone, but I don't yet have a new cubicle assigned, I had to pack up my desk and bring it home. Some of the stuff I'll take with me to MI, but for the most part, it's just going to sit in my house until when/if I move back into the offices. It looks like I might be living in MI eventually, as there will be almost 75% travel at some points in the project, so I'm really not sure what the future holds at this time. I've got a metric butt-ton of stuff to do today, I have no idea if I'm going get it all done. I'll try to make brief posts along the way just so people don't worry, but anything substantial may be a long time coming.
Ciao for now.
