Since I normally get up at 4 a.m. EST, it means that I'm awake here at 3 a.m. CST. My flight leaves out of Kansas City at 1 p.m. CST, so that means I have a few hours to work on my presentation for Monday prior to driving to the airport (about 2 hrs. from here).
There is an Arthur Bryant's in the airport, so I shall indulge in some BBQ prior to leaving the Midwest. I've actually done well with eating healthy this week, even though it was Thanksgiving. I kept to my meal schedule, ate healthy snacks, and didn't gorge myself at any meals. It will be interesting to see what the scale has to say when I get back home today.
I've got dinner plans with a friend for tomorrow evening, and I must do laundry when I get home. Other than that, my priority is going to be getting this presentation done for my 10 a.m. meeting tomorrow. I know everything that I have to say, I just need to figure out what order to present it in. I think I'm going to go with a semi-chronological approach, and if that doesn't work, then I'm going to present it in terms of functionality.
For some reason, I've been dreading writing this findings document. I think it's because I know there is a lot of "bad" news in it. However, it's time that someone other than me realizes what challenges lay ahead with our project, because a lot of "assumptions" have been made by management that are basically unfounded in fact, and it has driven us down a road that makes our milestones dates just completely unobtainable.
Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving.
Ciao for now.
