February is too screwed up to try to explain, but will involve doctor's appointments that I couldn't move, and getting my vehicle up to Michigan. Once my regular schedule kicks in the second week of March, I've booked travel all the way through the end of May (AirTran was having a sale), fly up on Tuesday morning, fly home Thursday night. I'll go into the office on Mondays, and will telework on Fridays from home. This is a schedule that I think I can live with, but I'm pretty much clearing my entire social calendar because I'm just going to be exhausted on the weekends and have a lot of administrivia to deal with.

Detroit's Metro Airport just built a brand new, huge parking deck where you can park for $6/day. It's right across the street from the old Smith terminal, which just happens to be the one that AirTran uses, rather than the spiffy new McNamara terminal a ways down the road. This means I won't have to bother with shuttles, etc. when I fly.

In other news, my refrigerator apparently decided to take 2 days off, ruining the contents of both refrigerator and freezer. I followed the troubleshooting guide provided by the manufacturer (Whirlpool), and turned the refrigerator on/off at the circuit breaker. That did the trick, it reset itself and appears to be working fine at this point.

[livejournal.com profile] aquell came over and assisted me with clearing out the contents of said naughty refrigerator. I still have to wipe down the freezer walls, etc., before putting anything back in. Given that I'm about to start a weird travel schedule, I'm not so sure how much stuff I'm going to reload it with at this point. I may just go to a weekly market schedule and not keep a whole lot on hand in case the darn thing decides to be wonky again. I mean, it's less than 2 years old for goodness sakes.

Ciao for now.
