I am *so* excited...

I am almost to the bottom of my paperwork nightmare! And, if Chris comes over tomorrow as planned, the last of the "honey do" items will be complete, and my house will be finished. There are just a few minor organizational things to take care of, but the new deck will be built (finally, I can entertain outdoors appropriately... 10' x 10' was just not enough), all the furniture will be built and placed, and the upstairs will be ready for me to be an invalid in. This time off of work has been a blessing, even though I'm sleeping a lot, I'm getting a lot of little things done around the house when I am awake. I've only got a couple more crates of filing to sort through, and then, well, I still need to make new labels/folders and actually "file" stuff... but if I can get all the old crap thrown out, then woot! I'm also finally done with buying furniture for now. I still need to buy some more art/accent pieces, but all the major stuff is done. Oh, and did I mention that one of the pieces of artwork that I bought in SF has already appreciated to the point where it paid for the second, more expensive piece and has a couple of grand in profit left over after that? (Paid $5200 for both, cheaper piece ($1400), is already worth $7300).
