aka "What is flushing?"
Flushing is a side effect of my cholesterol medication. When you "flush" your entire body turns bright red and you feel as if you are on fire, literally. Oh yeah, and every piece of skin you have on your entire body itches like a sonofagun.
Usually, flushing occurs in the middle of the night, waking me from a sound sleep. The upside to this is that I can usually go back to sleep while the damn itching runs its course. This morning, my body has decided to flush upon first light. The upside to this is that I've finally seen myself look like a red smurf, as I am literally fire-engine red from head to toe. (This has always occurred in a darkened room before so I was never really sure how red I was).
The downside to this is that I don't know how long this normally lasts, and I have no idea if I'll be able to keep from scratching myself raw.
Arrrrrgggggghhhhhh.
Ciao for now.
