This month in the Smithsonian, they published 28 Places to See Before You Die. I decided of all of these types of "lists" (I own a copy of 1000 Places to See Before You Die, but really wasn't that impressed with their US choices), this was one I wanted to incorporate into my life goals. So, for the next 28 years, I'm going to attempt to see one of these fantastic places. This year, I'll be traveling to Mesa Verde, while I'm in Colorado at my timeshare in Vail.

Speaking of goals... I completed my work on this year's revised 1, 3, 5, and 10 year lists.

My goals for 2008 are as follows:
Generate $10k in revenue outside of my full-time job
Lose 85 lbs.
Compete in my first sprint triathlon
Foster one new business for others
Build one new business for myself
Learn Options Trading
Read 12 books
Develop 10 positive habits
Complete 12 badges in "You Can Do It" (more on this later)
Travel to one of the Smithsonian's list

One of the 10 positive habits that I wish to develop is a more meaningful relationship with my LJ. I want to blog daily, either here, or on one of my many websites, which will also be getting overhauled this year to be something more than dormant paperweights.

2007 was a meaningful year for me, and it has to be rated as positive overall, as I found my soulmate, beat cancer, got a promotion and learned a lot about myself along the way. I am so very blessed by friends who have become my family, that there is little else to say.

Ciao for now.
