Completed my first workout on my 12-wk. triathlon training program today. 30 minutes of bike, I went 6 miles during that time, did it on resistance level 1 with two 1-min. intervals of resistance level 2. Per the computer, I expended 116 calories.

I've made myself a daily checklist. Each day has 14 tasks on it and 7 x 14 = 98, so I'm going to make each square on the spreadsheet = to 1% and track my percentage completion each week. It's my goal to have achieved 100% completion for at least three consecutive weeks in order to meet my annual goal of establishing 10 positive habits (some of them have more than one task necessary each day in order to establish the habit). I'm not going to share my task list, some of it is a little too personal, but we'll see how it goes. I can already tell my first few weeks may have rather low compliance mainly because I am forgetting to do stuff if I don't check my list each day. It's getting better daily though.

Posting in my LJ is one of the things on my task list though, so if I'm going to have 100% compliance, I'm going to have to hold myself accountable to posting. Then again, I want to chronicle my training, so that's like killing two birds with one stone, and in this case, that's a good thing.

Ciao for now.
