Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm currently in Osage Beach, MO, however, Thanksgiving is being held in St. Clair, MO, which is about a 2.5 hour drive from my lake house. Dad stayed with me yesterday while Marlene went back to Columbia to bake. I'll hand Dad off to her at Thanksgiving, and will have one day of solitude before I head back to Alpharetta.

I'm hoping to drive straight through on Saturday. It's a 12-hour drive. Normally I do it in six/six (spending the night in Paducah, KY), but I am anxious to get back to my own bed. This has been a nice visit, but I don't feel as if I have gotten to do any of the things that I wanted to do to relax.
