I declare my experiment a success...

I am getting so much more out of LJ these days, just from opening up my journal to more people that are "friends of friends." I find myself commenting more, reading more, etc. It's not that I didn't enjoy my flist before, it's just that I guess the "new and shiny" had worn off since all of the peeps were my IRL friends for so long.

New friends are a good thing, and they take absolutely nothing away from the old.
