Venue: Poker Stars
Table Type: No Limit Hold-em, $.10-$.25, 6-playerDuring current
Hold'em session you were dealt 80 hands and saw flop:
- 5 out of 14 times while in big blind (35%)
- 11 out of 15 times while in small blind (73%)
- 19 out of 51 times in other positions (37%)
- a total of 35 out of 80 (43%)
Pots won at showdown - 8 of 19 (42%)
Pots won without showdown - 14
Starting bankroll: $30
Ending bankroll: $0

Now, not completely my fault... My first $15 went like this... I was playing at a fairly "loose table" and I raised pre-flop 4x the big blind ($1) on the button with pocket Qs, and get raised all-in by the big-blind, and called by another guy... the original all-in had pocket Ks, the first caller had pocket As, the board blanked us all and the guy with As took down the pot...

Because at this point, I only had played 27 hands for the day, I refilled my stack with another $30. Clearly this was not a day I should be playing poker... For my other all-in-showdown disaster, I had pocket 2s... granted, they were 2s, but I flopped quads when the flop came down 229. I slow play the hand and check, as does the other player... notice, no one has raised at this point. The turn comes down another 9, at which point I now still have quads, but the other guy goes all-in, and I figure he's flopped a boat, or has an A, and is trying to scare me out of the pot... with quads, I snap call his all-in, and he turns over quad 9s.

That, as they say, is the rest of the story. These were not bad beats, but I certainly wasn't having my share of luck today. At least I didn't play horribly.

Ciao for now.
