I knew I had a good review this year. Well, our company distributes raises to eligible employees effective 4/1, so I found out that I got a $2400/yr. raise today during my one-on-one. That works out to $79 per paycheck (which will be more like $50 a paycheck after taxes and such). Plus, the first check will have 2 days retro pay at the new rate, and the April 30th paycheck is one of the two we get each year that doesn't have our insurance and other miscellaneous deductions taken out (those are reimbursed based on 24, not 26 paychecks a year)... so I should have a little extra cash, which is nice.

Personally, I'm just grateful to have a job.

Ciao for now.
