I woke up this morning in the process of dropping into anaphylactic shock from a spider bite. Luckily, 2 tabs of Benedryl pulled me out of that, however, I was literally shaking as if it were 20 degrees below zero outside for a couple of hours. Then, I discovered that for whatever reason my stomach absolutely wouldn't let me drink anything without sending it right back out. So, then, I had to fight a dehydration headache on top of that as well.

I'm still feeling really woozy. I'm lucky I didn't have to call for an ambulance this a.m. My friend Mark just dropped off a couple of quarts of Gatorade for me, and I was finally able to drink 32 oz. of water this afternoon, so tonight I'm just going to chill in front of the computer and re-hydrate myself. I'm hungry too, but I'm not sure what I should eat.

Of course, after having the chills all morning, I also seem to be running a fever now... this sucks so much. I had planned on going out to watch Tomb Raider tomorrow, but I'm going to have to stay close to home. Also, I still have a bunch of housework to do that I don't really feel like doing. I hope I feel better tomorrow.

Ciao for now.

UUUUUUUgh that sounds horrible. Hope you feel better soon. I"ve been bitten twice by white tail spiders - they're nasty. You still end up with a scar & sometimes it can flare up years later. The bit is so painful & it builds up for a week until it oozes out. ewwwwwwww. sorry for that !
