I love mornings. I've been up since 5 a.m. I paid my bills online, fed the cat, and responded to several emails. Then I went to the grocery store, which was blissfully empty at this time of the day (I may have been the only shopper there). My groceries are all put away and I've eaten breakfast. Hopped online and played WoW for about 20 minutes. Don't hate me, but I truly am a morning person. As soon as I finish this update, I'm going to throw some clothes in the washer and I'll be able to finish a load before I go to work today.
Weekend was awesome. Flew into Raleigh Saturday morning. Spent the day hanging out with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ladyleo. We went to the mall and got pedicures and had lunch. The, once dch4 was finished with work, we hung out and toured around Raleigh. Had a birthday dinner at Red Robin, and then headed over to check into my hotel. Played "Pimp, the Backhanding" with dch4 while ladyleo went to their local troupe LARP game. Sunday morning, the three of us hooked up again for an absolutely AWESOME Dim Sum. I've been sorely disappointed with the Dim Sum at Oriental Pearl in Chamblee of late, and this was a welcome treat. I need to find a better Dim Sum place here in Atlanta, if anyone knows of one, feel free to make suggestions. Flight back to Atlanta was delayed 1.5 hrs., and I wound up driving home from the airport in a torrential downpour. Cie la vie.
Work is work. I'm taking my life in a new direction. I'm not sure where it is going to lead, but I do know that it will mean a big change in my life. I'm torn on a personal level by several forces pulling in different directions, but I've just got to let go, trust my instincts and my Higher Power and let things happen. Everything happens for a reason, even if it may not be apparent to us at the time.

Dim Sum was yummy, reminds me of why we need to get out there probably once a month as a treat.
