Dad and I talked about many things over the weekend. There are some big changes coming for me, a new chapter will be starting soon, but I can't talk about it here yet. Let's just say I'm looking forward to something new when I turn 45 this year (on June 25). That doesn't leave me much time to put things into motion. I'll talk about here as I can, as things become more solid.

Contacts I've been making on AirTran have paid off. I've got an offer for a speaking engagement in Florida coming up soon, and hopefully, this, along with the things I'm not at liberty to talk about yet, will start to propel me closer to my life's dream of late.

I'm feeling better, physically and mentally, than I have in a long time. My sense of purpose is returning, which is something I'm hard-pressed to live without. There are many things that I know to be true about myself, and one of those things is that you can't make me do something I don't want to do. I'm stubborn that way, and I'd rather starve that hate where I am in life. That doesn't always breed sound decision-making, but I've gotten better at not cutting off my nose to spite my face over the last ten years or so.

Right now, I've just got to make sure that the money works out OK. Everything other than that is a piece of cake.

Ciao for now.

Thanks hon...

I actually might be relocating to the Orlando area. It's one of the things "on the table" - so to speak. This will be especially true if my speaking career takes off in that area of the country first.

I'm glad things are moving in a more positive direction for you. I look forward to hearing more about the new plan as you feel able to talk about it.

Well...

I can talk about it in person? Might you be up for breakfast on Saturday or Sunday morning this weekend? Say around 8 a.m. either day?

Re: Well...

Let's shoot for Sunday. I can do 8ish, where were you thinking of going? I have church in Marietta at 10 and I'd like to make that, but as long as we're somewhere within a half hour of there, I'm good. :-)

Send me some suggestions and we'll go from there.

Re: Well...

Do you have a J Christopher's on your side of town? I figure you probably do, they're all over Atlanta. They have the best breakfast in town, IMHO. I'm willing to drive over there so you're close to church.

Re: Well...

I love J Christopher's! We have several fairly close to us. There's one off of Hammond and Roswell Rd at the Perimeter area that's easy to get to and maybe closer than the other two for you. There's one off Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta and one off Delk and Powers Ferry.

I see some listed in Alpharetta and Roswell if those would be easier. I'm ok with trying to meet you approximately half way so just let me know your thoughts. :-)

Re: Well...

The one near Hammond & Roswell Rd would be great for me, since that's my favorite location (near the Sandy Springs Kroger). Sorry I haven't responded in a couple of days, but it's been hectic.

Re: Well...

That works for me. I'll see you there around 8ish, definitely no later than 8:15. :-)
