Dad is still in SICU (surgical intensive care unit). He has not come out from under the anthesia sufficiently for them to move him to a room. He has been up and sitting in a chair for a brief period of time, but he's fairly non-responsive when the nurses try to talk to him, and they have recommended just letting him to continue sleeping it off rather than visiting at this point. I saw him late this morning, but he was struggling to wake up and very confused about where he is and why. Marlene is on her way over to see him in a little bit, and since they limit visitors, it's better if we go in separately rather than together.
On a completely unrelated note, Yoplait Lite White Chocolate & Strawberry yogurt is divine.
Thank you for all the well wishes/comments, etc. I'm sorry that I have responded to each one individually, but I'm not firing on all cylinders right now and will be more verbal once this whole ordeal is over.
