Problems with photography....

I have discovered that having a black cat and black leather furniture does not lend itself well to photography...

I took a picture of Brat on my sofa... you can't see him... well... you can see some kind of lump on the sofa, but it is not recognizable as a cat.

I finally got a semi-good picture of him, but the problem is it doesn't show you his face very well because his lower face kind of blends in with his body...

Now, when I figure out how I can post picto my journal, you will get to see a pic of my little monster.

I bought the hooded cat box today. It's got DEEP (8") sides... I've got it sitting in the bathroom right now next to the other litter box (which I left dirty to encourage him to use the new one). I also haven't put on the hood yet.. I might not actually have too... the 8" sides look like they may solve the "litter flinging" problem... If this works, I won't bother putting the top on.

I also changed brands of litter to an unscented one.. I finally realized that Rembrandt liked to "play" with the scented stuff... he would go in there and fling it around when he didn't need to go potty just to make the smells come out... silly cat...
