Yes, I am alive...

No, I haven't posted much lately. You see, I cracked a wisdom tooth, and I've been in massive amounts of oral pain lately. I actually went to the dentist on Wednesday, but because he's going to be on vacation next week, it's going to be at least two weeks before I can get the thing extracted. Meanwhile, I'm on antibiotics and all I seem to want to do is to sleep.

Warning - rant/on - OK, I went out to dinner last night way too late... around 9 p.m. However, what pissed me off the most was the number of diners eating out with children between 2-4 years of age!!! Now, I can understand taking a baby out with you.. they're basically up/down all hours of the day, but I'm sorry, children from 2 on up have no business being out in public at a restaurant after 9 p.m.... and I'm not even going to talk about the family with 3 kids who was just walking in when I left the restaurant at 10 p.m. Is it just me? I mean, I know I'm not a parent, but I used to be a live-in nanny, and I think I know a few things about raising kids... rant/off

I've seen a lot of things this week that have given me pause to think and that I probably should have written journal entries about, however, I just haven't been in the mood to be on the computer (that should tell you how lousy I've been feeling)... anway... I promise to do better in the near future...
