Woot! Tax refund is already in my checking account. It's really a great feeling to know that I've got my federal tax stuff done. I still need to mail $7 to Georgia, but I'll do that on April 15.
I've varied my schedule this morning by quite a bit. I got up about 10 minutes earlier and I took my shower before taking Michael to work, which means that I'm already ready to go in to work myself. I want to go in at least an hour earlier today to get some of the backlog off my desk.
Today is going to be a very interesting day, to say the least. We're getting a debrief from the HealthCheck guy and a catered lunch today, so in essence, I'm going to wind up working a couple of extra hours. I don't really mind if it gets me caught up though.
Not surprisingly, I'm in a much better mood today after a good night's sleep. Thank God I don't stay grumpy for long, I'd have no friends. I'm interested in seeing whether or not they pull the plug on SCaRE today. Michael told me last night he doesn't want to go home for the weekend, so we will be using our tickets for some other Cam event if this falls through.
Personally, I just want the end of the month to get here so I can have some time off. I'm not one of these people who likes to have a week off at a time... I get bored and want to go back to work after the 3rd or 4th day... I just need long weekends at least once a month, that recharges me more and gives me less time to build up stress in between rests.
