Happy New Year!

OK, I'm late - sue me. I had a wonderful weekend with folks in the mountains, marred only by my own lack of grace.

Yesterday I felt pretty good, and as a result, spent a lot of time up and around.

I'm paying for it today, to the point where I am actually considering taking the hydro-codone that the doctor prescribed for pain that I have been able to avoid thus far.

Dad has requested that I photograph the evidence of my stupidity, so I've got to remember to take pictures of the bruising tomorrow. I have to return to work tomorrow, but I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday to follow-up and make sure I don't need more antibiotics (which I am getting ready to take the last one tonight, but my leg is still angry and inflamed).

Just wanted to give everyone a small update before I hobble off to put my leg up again and watch more TV.
