I started by taking a "mental health" day from work today to try to tie up a lot of loose ends that I have hanging around. I am up, showered, and almost ready to go, not going to let myself lay around. The anemia is kicking my butt though, so I'm not sure how long I'll be able to go before I just crash due to exhaustion again. I have a ton of stuff to do.

Someone told me last night to stop holding it all in. I'm going to try to follow that advice, but I'm not sure that I really can. That represents a major personality change. So instead, I'll deal with things in the way I normally do - plunge headfirst and burn the candle at both ends until my body can't take it any more.

Yeah. That's the ticket... I'll make things worse before they get better. Give me spoons!!!!

Ciao for now.
I have stripped the bed, washed the linens and dried them, now I just need to put them back on my bed. I have also cleaned up about 1/3 of my bedroom, eaten breakfast (yogurt w/granola), morning snack (oatmeal), taken all my appropriate medications, am working on my second 16 oz. cup of green tea, loaded the dishwasher with all the currently dirty dishes, put up some of the laundry from yesterday and have ripped a bunch of CDs to .mp3. I'm sure I'm well over 400 albums now. If I don't stop soon, I'm going to need another CD rack to house them all in. Now I need to reshelve the entire collection. I decided I'm going to move it downstairs, as I have my iPod Bose system upstairs, and my .mp3 library is accessible on my wireless network. However, none of my CDs are near my stereo system, which is currently in the living room. Just makes sense to move it all down there now that it is all ripped to .mp3. Lord, I think this post is going to look like one huge run-on paragraph because I can't figure out where the best place to break things is and it's all just kind of a brain dump anyway. Lots and lots to do before I even get to the paperwork I need to be taking care of today. I've got errands to run as well, but I need to try to reschedule my Comcast appointment for today since tomorrow we've got a homeowners association meeting that I'd like to be able to go to. I have no idea what's going on with my cable model, but I keep dropping signal multiple times a day. It's annoying as hell. (Note: Got that done while writing the post). They're going to send a technician out to check the line and I got it rescheduled to Wednesday evening. They also reset the signal so that I could get back online today.

Ciao for now.

Overall, it was a good day. I didn't get as much stuff done as I would have liked, but I wasn't completely lazy either. All my meds were taken on time, ate on schedule, ate the right foods. I've decided to try to stop worrying so much about the future, that's what my calendar is for. I just need to be sure that I do the right things at the right times in the right ways. Only I am responsible for my success, and I shouldn't let other peoples' petty jealousies make me take a tailspin.

Tonight - early to bed. Tomorrow night - work and homeowner's association meeting. Wednesday night - Comcast is coming out to check my signal, I can't seem to keep a connection. Thursday night - Soup Night! Friday night - No plans, gimme something to do! Saturday - cut/color for my hair. Sunday - work, work, work.

Ciao for now.
