Day 5

Activity: None

Friday is my official "day off." I plan to train six days a week, and Friday will be the hardest day to stick to a schedule, so I decided to make that my off day.

S came over and fixed my seat and left pedal strap. All the technical challenges are behind me now.

Medicine Log: All meds taken on schedule.

Day 6

Activity: None

This was an unanticipated day without training, but considering my schedule, it couldn't be helped.

Medicine Log: All meds taken, but what is a schedule??

Day 7

Activity: Cycle
Elapsed Time: 12 mi.
Elapsed Distance: 2.6 mi.
Resistance Level: 03
Calories burned: 55

Toughest workout yet. I don't know if that's because I laid off two days or just because I had it dailed up to 3 again. This is the first day I've broken a heavy sweat. My legs screamed at me after the first half mile. I almost dogged out around 7:30, but I mentally powered through it and still managed to increase my distance (each day I've gone just a little further).

No real issues to report, looking forward to starting my second week.

Medicine Log: All meds taken on schedule.

Work: Took the day off Friday, so I had a 3-day weekend.

Personal: Had lunch with R on Friday. His divorce should be going to court next week, and I know he's relieved that it will soon be over.

S came over on Friday night. I was *finally* able to give him his present that I picked up while I was in NOLA. I got him a framed Discovery Channel bicycle jersey signed by Lance Armstrong. I am pretty sure he liked it, but if he wants to comment on how he feels about his gift, I'm sure he'll make himself known.

Saturday started late (I still only had 3 hrs. sleep after S left), I had breakfast with my friend JM at Mimi's Cafe, and then we went to Target to pick up gifts for [livejournal.com profile] cearafox & [livejournal.com profile] infiniti666's wedding reception. While we were at Target, I found a jewelry armoire that I liked as well. Then it was down to Ikea to run an errand for one of JM's friends in Charleston, and for me to pick up a couple of things for the house. This was just a quick trip... I really need to go back some time with S so I have someone with me to pick up all the things I want to buy that are too heavy to get on my own. Then we went by JM's parents' house in Dunwoody for her to change for the reception, and to wrap the gifts. After that, we headed to the reception.

I could probably write for an hour about the reception and friends and how perfect everything was yesterday, but I won't. Unfortunately, the heavy schedule left me exhausted today, and I've been feeling it. I've been fighting not to nap so that I will truly sleep well tonight. Definitely going to head to bed early.

Project: House is coming together slowly but surely. Project deadline is looming though, as I want to have it organized by the time S spends a significant amount of time here on his vacation. Once I have "a place for everything, and everything in its place" I am going to take stock of what I consider to be my aesthetic "gaps" as far as decorating goes, and then make a wish/project list to get everything where I want it to be.
