Mostly packed...

Picked up the rental car today, a cute little white 2010 Nissan Cube with only 177 miles on it. New car smell, yay!

I have found all the items I needed to find to take with me, some bags are completely packed, others are at least organized, just need to stick the last few items in. I'm syncing the Zune to my entire music collection right now, I decided not to subject myself to audio books for this trip, although I am taking three hardbacks to read... my Rumi, the Dyer book I'm reading and the latest web design book I bought. I've got plenty of geek stuff to keep me busy, and my brand new laptop to break in on the trip. I figure if I do badly at poker, I'll just go back to the room and play with my tech toys and/or sleep. It is vacation after all.

Tomorrow night I'll be posting from Metropolis, IL, home of Superman!
