Oscar night...

Watched the Oscars with my Dad and Marlene. We *all* had trouble staying awake for the whole thing. I didn't want to miss the chance to post today, so I'm addressing you now briefly.

I'm all packed except for my lunch box for tomorrow. May not stop by the Neely's now, have already eaten far too much this weekend, and I know I'll be indulging in Biloxi this week. I have cheese/crackers/salami for the trip tomorrow. My hydration pack is loaded up and I've got a box of family pictures to take back with me.

I decided I really need to get here twice a year. I'm planning on coming out in October. May not make it to the ashram after all this year. I'm living in the moment. What comes will come. I am so blessed with family, friends, my job, everything.

Life is good. (PS, it's only 11:22 p.m. here in CST, so I really did post on the 7th... stupid LJ)

This is merely filler...

I've been on the road since 6:30 a.m. CST. Rolled into my hotel in Biloxi at around 8:30 p.m. Overall, a nice drive today, just too freaking long. And, what was supposed to be the highlight of today turned out to be the worst. But more on that in another post, probably tomorrow, when I've had sleep and can be coherent.

For now, I'm just going to chill in my room and then get some sleep.
