My sleep schedule on the weekend is so strange. I still get up at 6 a.m., usually run a few errands, and then come crawl back into bed for a few hours, mostly because I generally stay up too late on Friday/Saturday. And, because I slept during the day, here it is 11:30 and I'm still wide awake. Hungry too, since I haven't had dinner yet. Gonna reheat some leftovers, and then try to stay awake long enough to digest them.
I just stuck a load of laundry in the washer. I figure that if I do the laundry tonight, I won't feel guilty if I actually sleep in tomorrow morning. Bah, I'm sure all of you really care about this shit. I'm feeling scattered these days. I usually do in September for some reason... it's been a historically 'bad' month for me... broken relationships, lost jobs, etc. I think it's because I'm not really paying attention to what is happening around me.. it's like I'm stuck in the ozone somewhere.
I actually wrote a downtime for my Camarilla character tonight. I think I'm going to start being more active again. So far, I've had this character about a year and a half, and have only played her 4 times... but every time I've played I was nominated for the "role-playing" award. I guess that makes me feel good. I might actually start working on another one of my ordeals tonight... either the Lore of Narration or Ordeal of Creation... those are the only two I have left to do. I need to send Beth my prestige log too. Maybe I'll actually get all this done this weekend (but don't bank on it).
For some reason I'm really wired tonight, and am actually considering staying up all night, but then I'm afraid I'll sleep through the movie tomorrow if I do. I'm going to go see the 1:30 p.m. showing of "American Pie 2" at Colonial 18. I've already purchased my ticket, and I'll probably get there early and eat at the Mexican restaurant next to the theatre. Next Sunday is Phantom!!! I can't wait. Carol and I purchased those tickets in MARCH and have been waiting ever since. We're going to go downtown and have a nice brunch at Houlihan's before going to the Fox. This is the first time I will have ever been to the Fox theatre, I'm really looking foward to it.
I feel like I'm in a rut these days, nothing really exciting going on. This is a bad thing, for past experience shows that I will manage to create drama if there is none. I have to resist the urge to do something stupid like quit my job and move halfway across the country like I have in the past... Luckily, the fact that I have Rembrandt will probably keep me from doing something like that. I couldn't disrupt his life like that, although I'm pretty sure he's not as concerned with his surroundings as he is just being with me... but then, who knows, I'm not a cat.
Tomorrow I need to purchase a new black inkjet cartridge for my printer. I've got a 10% off coupon at best buy, I just hope they have the one for my printer model in stock. It seems to be hard to find, I've looked a couple of places and can't find it anywhere. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed.
There are so many things that I should do that I'm not motivated to do that it's pathetic. I really need to clean house, but I'm just so apathetic about it most of the time. I have been getting stuff done little by little, but I just don't ever seem to catch up. Maybe after I get my raise in October I'll hire a maid.
Oh well, I've bored you all enough.
Ciao for now.

BTW...my cats have actually driven cross country and they were OK with it. (Well, truthfully I nearly strangled Teddy with all his howling, but we all made it in one piece.)
But I do understand your point..you are better off staying put...
