OK, so I missed a couple of days posting. Sue me. Wednesday morning Michael called in sick to work, which means I got to sleep in until 8:30 a.m. That helped me feel somewhat better, but I've still got the crud. It just keeps going in circles around our office. I'll feel a little better one day, and then worse again the next. I'm hoping that by having a chance to rest up this weekend I'll be able to get rid of it more permanent-like.
Last night was interesting. Michael was in the mood to talk about a lot of serious stuff. I'm still not sure where we're at, relationship-wise, but I just keep telling myself to take each day as it comes and not to stress over it. Karen moved in last night with Gabriel (cat) and the four ferrets. She couldn't get the ferret cage into her room, so it's sitting in the living room for now. All the cats are pissed off and fighting, and who knows how long before we get an unsteady truce again. ::sigh:: Six cats and four ferrets, I live in a freakin' menagerie.
I have to leave early for work today to buy the contributions for our "needy family basket" on my way to work. Guess that means I'll hop in the shower in a few minutes. Right now I'm eating breakfast and typing this and trying to figure out what I've got on my agenda at work today. I know that my boss will be gone, which means that it will be quiet, and that I have a conference call scheduled for 10 a.m. Also, a couple of people have PTO this afternoon, but that really shouldn't mean a whole lot. Friday's are normally our slowest day of the week.
Payday today! Go me... of course, almost all of it is already spoken for. Parts of me just wants to climb back into bed and tell the world to take a flying leap, but I can't.
Ciao for now.
