Well, as is par for the course, I have vacation time, and now I'm sick as a dog. Michael has been battling a cold for the past few days, and I thought that I was going to be able to dodge that bullet. Unfortunately, if wishes were horses, beggars would ride.

I can't lay down without starting to cough, I have a raging headache, and I'm still nursing the after effects of whatever kind of mild stomach bug latched on to me on Sunday.

All in all, I feel like crap. What a lovely way to spend a vacation. My body seems to do this to me every time I take time off from work.

Don't mind me, I'm just really miserable right now. I'm a very tough person to get along with when I feel crappy.

For 2nd christmasday (we celebrate it two days here in The Netherlands) I went over to my friend Louise&Sander's place and we had a lovely dinner together with another couple. At the end of the evening Louise started feeling not to well, and halfway the night she had been throwing up 3 times.. Both her as Sander catched some stomachflu the day before at his parents and my where they sick of it! It sucks being ill in your holidays. I hope you'll be feeling better soon and can enjoy some of your time off!
