I'm in for this year.

My username is 'onmyownterms'

I'm planning on writing a science fiction novel. Working title is "Sensory Overload." It's about a telepath sent to Earth by an ancient race of highly evolved beings to prepare the world for what's coming in 2012.

:)

Let's be buddies!!!

Ciao for now.

Re: Just do it!

Well as I was saying before, I just hope it doesn't turn out to be total crap ;-P

About a month ago, I was researching out of curiosity -what- exactly were the unsolved challenges of putting a man on Mars. Exposure to cosmic radiation is up there as a major challenge. Most NASA scientists are still chasing down shielding techniques and work in the area that I'll be dealing with in my story is underway, but hasn't gotten as much attention nor development as shielding solutions. There's some promising research being done at WashU, for example, that would not only help astronauts exposed to cosmic radiation, but would also help victims of dirty bombs... and that approach is very different from what I'll be writing on... but net/net is still basically the same, which was exciting to read about.

I actually wanted to run a game with the premise, but couldn't think of a game that I was well versed in to fit it to. Then the other day I saw your post and was like, "Oh hey, I got a story!" and signed right up.

So, thanks for reminding me of a cool outlet for my story! =D
