Week 1: 375 lbs.
...
Week 11: 333.0 lbs.
Week 12: 332.0 lbs.
Week 13: 329.0 lbs.
Week 14: 324.5 lbs.

Total loss for the week: 4.5 lbs.
Total loss overall: 50.5 lbs.

Goal weight: 175 lbs.
Current pounds to goal: 145.5 lbs.

25% of the way there in 13 weeks!! (I know this is the 14th entry, but that means it's 13 weeks that have elapsed). Man, if I keep this up, I'll have the rest of the weight gone by the end of the year (although it's not likely).

I'll post more about my week later. Ciao for now.

Re: rock on!!!

Thanks hon. You know, I've always wanted to lose the weight ever since I gained the first 100 lbs., but there was just a part of me that said in the back of my mind, "when the time comes, it will happen." I feel like this is the right time. I learned a lot about myself and society through being a fat person, and I guess this is just the signal that I've learned those lessons and I can move on to other challenges.

I know I owe you an email, but it was a hectic week. I'll see if I can reply today, I'm still trying to catch up on backlog of stuff...

I know, it's been pretty amazing, but it's also been relatively easy. I've been joking with my friends as this has gone along, that once I lose the weight, I'm going to write a book on my experience. Not a "diet" book, but an "eating guide for life." I'm keeping a separate diary of my feelings, the challenges that have arisen and how I overcame them, etc. A lot of this journey has not been physical, but mental/spiritual. Honestly, I think those are the major hurdles, not the food that we eat.
